The 1958 Worldcon (Solacon) published rules for governance of for the 1958 WSFS Business Meeting in a progress report. We thank FANAC.org for preserving these documents. In 1958 there was an corporation (WSFS, Inc.) and there was ongoing controversy over the relationship of WSFS Inc. to Worldcon that came to a head during the 1958 WSFS Business Meeting. Since that time WSFS (an unincorporated literary society) has continued to be the entity sanctioning the World Science Fiction Convention, and the New York state corporation WSFS, Inc. appears to be dormant.
